This includes probationary members, visitors and guests. Normally this will be through some level of membership.

(a) Processing of your data is necessary for keeping you up to date with events and activities as a member of our Community

Enquiries and other communications with the Impostors Community

When enquiring about the Impostors Community we may hold your details for a period of time to deal with the enquiry. Any emails and other communications with the Impostors Community will only be retained for a period of time appropriate to the content or request. Impostors Community emails will be purged on a regular basis. People added to a Impostors Community waiting list for membership will be informed and asked for permission to store that data at that point.

 

How we protect your personal data

The Data Controller will process membership information electronically and hold all information on a database on Mailchimp.com.

For any on-line payments which we take from members and guests, we will use a recognised online secure payment system.

In the unlikely event of a breach of the security of data we will notify members promptly and we will never sell or pass on your personal data.

 

Request to see your personal information

If you wish to know what personal data the Impostors Community holds please email the Co-Founders at theimpostorscommunity@gmail.com and they will respond within 14 days of the request (depending on availability).

 

Accuracy and retention of data

Each individual member is responsible for keeping the Co-Founders informed of changes to their data as and when it changes – though this is completely at your discretion.

The Community will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your personal data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

The Community will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes.
